DeGods Drops Season III … Our Thoughts

DeGods went live with their Season 3 August 9th. Their floor has been tanking ever since.
What you need to know:
  • The DeGods floor has dropped over 26% to 6.48eth since the Season 3 announcement Aug 9 🥶

  • That’s almost 1/4 value lost in under 24 hours…

  • People are not stoked about the art previews so far

Our take: It feels like the DeGods team saw the Azuki FUD around releasing art that was too similar and then decided to do exact same thing with Season 3. Nothing innovative here.

  • Created Digital Zones — first exhibited in '17, sold for $1.5M in 2021 🤯

  • Launched Lewitt Generator Generator on Artblocks (current floor price 0.3 ETH)

A bit more about the drop:

Mint Date: Aug 16

Description: Boys of Summer is a provocative art game and PFP collection that serves as a social commentary on how our lives have been inextricably quantified.

Using baseball characters & overwhelming statistics as the creative medium, the collection prompts us to examine our own value system and inherent biases that shape our potential.

Our readers have an exclusive chance to get on the Allowlist to mint this exciting & innovative artwork. Space is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.

Be sure to sign up by August 15, 9pm ET to get your spot.

This IS Financial Advice 🤑

First excerpts from a book to be released called "Gambler: Secrets from a Life of Risk" surfaced this week detailing the illustrious gambling history of Phil Mickelson.

This story is b-a-n-a-n-a-s. The book claims that from 2010 to 2014, Mickelson made 858 bets of $220,000 and 1,115 bets of $110,000. It is estimated that Mickelson endured losses of approximately $100 million while betting more than $1 billion over the past three decades.

It’s no secret that Phil, or any other golfers, love to bet on the golf course. Surely, a lot of them also like to bet off the course. But given these numbers, it’s possible that he’s the most prolific sports bettor of all time. Mattress Mack often makes national headlines for his yearly $1m+ bets on Houston teams to win championships.

Phil was betting almost $1m PER DAY for YEARS!

We can’t wait for this book to drop. Here’s one of many Phil gambling stories…
