🗿 Guide to Trump's First Days

How to know what's next for crypto

GM. Happy Tuesday. We’re less than a week away from Trump taking office. Crypto has been relatively steady since the post-election hype died down. What will come next?

Without Further Ado. ☕ *knuckle cracks* ☕ Let’s get into it.

Writer RAG tool: build production-ready RAG apps in minutes

RAG in just a few lines of code? We’ve launched a predefined RAG tool on our developer platform, making it easy to bring your data into a Knowledge Graph and interact with it with AI. With a single API call, writer LLMs will intelligently call the RAG tool to chat with your data.

Integrated into Writer’s full-stack platform, it eliminates the need for complex vendor RAG setups, making it quick to build scalable, highly accurate AI workflows just by passing a graph ID of your data as a parameter to your RAG tool.

Trump will be inaugurated next week, what now?

Crypto was so happy about Trump getting elected in November, but some of the steam has worn off. We are 6 days away from inauguration and it feels like it’s sneaking up on us somehow. Luckily we’re here to make sure you’re ready for the changes and price action next week.

Will we see another jump like in early November?

No, probably not. Trump taking office is not a surprise, so it’s most likely already priced into the market.

However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be surprises. Trump has promised the crypto community a lot.

What has Trump promised crypto?

  1. Establishing a U.S. Bitcoin Reserve: Trump plans to create a national Bitcoin reserve.

  1. Forming a Crypto Advisory Council: He said he will set up a council comprising industry leaders to guide crypto-related policies.

  1. Appointing a Crypto Czar: David O. Sacks has been designated as the White House AI and Crypto Czar to develop a legal framework for the cryptocurrency industry.

  1. Ensuring Banking Access for Crypto Firms

  1. Implementing Crypto-Friendly Regulations: Trump has pledged to introduce regulations that support the growth and integration of cryptocurrencies into the mainstream financial system.

  1. Freeing Ross Ulbricht: Last year on May 25, Donald Trump vowed to commute the sentence of early Bitcoin pioneer and Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht to time served if elected president.

  1. Firing SEC Chair Gary Gensler: This one he won’t actually have to do, as Gensler already announced his resignation

Okay, so what now?

Some reports are saying that these executive orders could come on day 1. If that’s the case, then there isn’t much to speculate about.

But, if we don’t see any movement, the market may see some short-term turmoil. Trump loves to talk, we need to see some action.

Keep your eyes and ears open early next week. As long as something he promised happens early on, it’ll be off to the races for everyone in crypto.

Just making sure

Stop saying happy new year

Last week we told you that you had a week left to get all of your “happy new years” out of your system. So we just wanted to check in and make sure you’re over it. It’s a little late.
