We don’t think Blur or Opensea are the NFT marketplaces of the future. We think it’s Amazon.

Yes, Chad-era Bezos is cringe af. But the biz is primed to scale NFTs in a way that OpenSea and Blur simply cannot compete with.

Why we’re long on Amazon in the NFT wars:

1. Royalties

• We lost the plot when we stopped enforcing royalties

• Pretty sure we’ll see a new option that enforces royalties take over the market. I think we all miss when teams had a direct financial incentive to keep working.

• Royalties also align financial incentives with teams and holders. They’re overall good for the ecosystem.

2. Amazon is just better.

• Amazon has direct access to 200 million subscribers that can seamlessly integrate NFTs into their shopping experience.

• Their customer experience and engineering team are equipped to grow at scale.
