On Chain Summer Is Here ☀️

Base is now open for bridging, and they are launching a month-long onchain festival to celebrate.

Every day in August, different builders, brands, products, artists, and creators will give you something fun to do onchain.

How it works:

Base is currently on day seven, stayed tuned to Base on Twitter and follow the steps to get your daily mints.

Base will be working with big brands like Coca-Cola and Atari throughout the month. Our friends at Crossmint are integrated natively into the Base app to simplify the onboarding experience, allowing users to purchase NFTs with fiat.

Our take: Amid a ton of FUD, the Onchain Summer Drop couldn’t have come at a better time. Kudos to the Base marketing team for creating a campaign thats both useful and engaging for brands and consumers.

Hopefully this carries some much needed market momentum into the Fall 🍁

Free Alpha 💰 : The Boys of Summer Allowlist

You may have heard — the one and only Mitchell F. Chan is launching his next collection, Boys of Summer, with Wildxyz on August 16th.

A little bit about the artist:

  • Legendary crypto & conceptual artist

  • Created Digital Zones — first exhibited in '17, sold for $1.5M in 2021 🤯

  • Launched Lewitt Generator Generator on Artblocks (current floor price 0.3 ETH)

A bit more about the drop:

Supply: 999

Price: 0.12 ETH

Mint Date: Aug 16

Description: Boys of Summer is a provocative art game and PFP collection that serves as a social commentary on how our lives have been inextricably quantified.

Using baseball characters & overwhelming statistics as the creative medium, the collection prompts us to examine our own value system and inherent biases that shape our potential.

Our readers have an exclusive chance to get on the Allowlist to mint this exciting & innovative artwork. Space is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.

Be sure to sign up by August 15, 9pm ET to get your spot.

This IS Financial Advice 🤑

A black bear known by the street name “Hank the Tank” has been caught after more than a year on the run. The Lake Tahoe native comes in at a whopping 500lbs and might be the most prolific thief of our generation.

DNA analysis has confirmed that Hank is responsible for TWENTY-ONE home break ins in the Tahoe area over the past year.

Truly aspirational numbers for all you bear cubs out there. Danny Ocean would be proud.
