Some hot takes to take to the water cooler
GM. Happy Tuesday and welcome to the 169th edition of NoFomo. Nice.
Today weâre back with another edition of bar bites. Weâll give you the hot topics and ammo you need at Thanksgiving to start a fight or quickly pivot out of a political conversation you donât need to be in.
Without Further Ado. â *knuckle cracks* â Letâs get into it.
Writer RAG tool: build production-ready RAG apps in minutes
RAG in just a few lines of code? Weâve launched a predefined RAG tool on our developer platform, making it easy to bring your data into a Knowledge Graph and interact with it with AI. With a single API call, writer LLMs will intelligently call the RAG tool to chat with your data.
Integrated into Writerâs full-stack platform, it eliminates the need for complex vendor RAG setups, making it quick to build scalable, highly accurate AI workflows just by passing a graph ID of your data as a parameter to your RAG tool.

Small robot Erbai convinces 12 other larger robots to abandon their posts
Tl;dr
Erbai accessed the internal operating protocol of the Shanghai companyâs bots and its corresponding permissions.
The video shows the smaller AI-powered robot successfully persuading the other 12 robots to quit their jobs and leave the facility using a natural language conversation
The incident occurred on August 26 this year in Shanghai but has been recently made public.
Our take
Oh boy. Seems like every week now there is a concerning story about robots doing a little too much of their own thinking. Weâre not surprised.
The more concerning thing here is that they tried to cover it up, only putting out the story recently months after the incident. Leads us to believe itâs part of a bigger issue that they canât control. Another step towards our robots overlordsâ rule. Oops.
Delta to serve Shake Shack burgers on flights
Tl:dr
Delta first-class passengers will be able to pre-select Shake Shack burgers on select long-haul flights
The burger service will begin on flights out of Boston on Dec. 1, with plans for expansion to other U.S. markets throughout 2025
Our take
This made a ton of social media noise. Kudos for getting the clicks.
Now let us tell you why we hate it.
First, the average price of a continental US Delta first class ticket is $498-$958. A Shake Shack burger is just over $8. This is supposed to be a selling point for the first class customer? A fast food burger?? This feels like the time Trump served McDonaldâs at the White House.
I assume most of our readers have ordered a burger to go, and not been able to eat it for 45min+. It gets soggy, falls apart, and is never as good. So are they planning on microwaving these bad boys? Or are we to expect Delta to install restaurant style grills at the front of every 737?
Weâre not Delta first class experts, so we canât say for sure what else they are doing to enhance the flyerâs experience. But this smells like a thinly veiled cost cutting measure because they didnât want to afford the upscale menu a well-renowned chef made for them. We canât imagine this is what their target customer actually wants.
Pump.fun suspends livestream feature amid backlash
Tl:dr
The Solana memecoin launchpad pump.fun has temporarily suspended its livestream feature
Over the past weekend, pump had taken down a stream of a user threatening to shoot their dog unless a tokenâs market capitalization increased, noting that the platform has now taken down âhundreds of streams.â
Some are calling for a reckoning with memecoinsâ downsides as crypto tries to go mainstream
Our take
This is why we canât have nice things. Crypto sees a few weeks of light and we already have kids throwing toasters in their bathtubs to get rich, among other moronic activities (intentionally not linking these, we disavow). Some people are saying the streams may even result in criminal charges.
Can everyone please just keep it together? Everything is finally trending towards mainstream adoption, but all it takes is one batch of idiots to derail us again.
